This is a specialized course for people in the architecture and civil engineering industry. There will be an introduction to Grasshopper and basic use cases for practical modeling tasks, like patterns, use of attractors and use of grasshopper for architecture, furniture planning and landscaping.

Rhino for Ortopeder
19. - 21. June 2024
Et kurs skreddersydd for ortopeder. Deltakerne vil bli godt kjent med Rhinos grensesnitt og modelleringsverktøy, slik at Rhino blir en aktiv problemløser og et middel for kommunikasjon. Innledningsvis fokuserer vi på grunnleggende prinsipper for NURBS modellering. Vi tar også for oss banebrytende teknologier som gjør det mulig å bygge lettvekts gitterstukturer (Lattice Stuctures) som kan 3d-printes effektivt, og der de fysiske egenskapene kan skreddersys. Kurset tar sikte på med aktiv bruk av både digitale og fysiske modeller, og det vil bli mulighet for å 3d-printe en prøve som modelleres i kurset. Rhino 8 har fått nye funksjoner for å gjøre om 3d-scan data til modeller som er enklere å jobbe videre med. Dette danner grunnlaget for å lage presise 3D-modeller, som kan brukes i produksjon. Det er særlig fokus på å modellere og tilpasse modeller, i tillegg til bruk av 3D-skann og 3D-printing. Kurset vil også passe godt for designere av sko.

Rhino Grasshopper

This courses start with a short introduction before moving on to investigating data structures, and also the fundamentals of solid/surface modeling. We use relevant examples as well as short tutorials that teach a certain method. Piece by piece you will get the needed experience to build your own grasshopper scripts. This course also teaches you how to create quality models so they can be used directly for manufacture, 3d printing, etc.
